Dhondiram Baba took Samadhi on 25 May 2012. His memory remains closely connected with Gurusthan and the devotional life of Saidham.

The campus continues to welcome devotees for Sai Baba darshan, Gurusthan, prayer, reflection, and peace near Shirdi.

Dhondiram Baba
Param Pujya Shri Dhondiram Baba Chavan was born on 10 September 1936 in Shirud, Dhule, and is remembered for simplicity, humility, devotion, and seva.
From an early stage in life, he was devoted to Ghodepir Baba and Shree Sai Baba. After retirement, he dedicated himself fully to Sai Baba worship and service to devotees.
The small Sai temple he established at home became Gurusthan, and that sacred beginning continues to shape the way devotees understand Saidham Mandir today.
